Two children from Indian River County, Florida have been reported missing and may be in the company of their parents, one of whom is wanted for murder, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.
Officials say 11-month-old Lizeht Gamez-Flores and 4-year-old Edward Gamez were last seen on Friday in the 100 block of North Oak Street in Fellsmere, Florida, which is located just north of Vero Beach on Florida’s east coast.
The children may be in the company of their parents, 24-year-old Edward Gamez and his girlfriend, 21-year-old Maria Lopez. According to Vero Beach Police, Gamez is wanted in connection with a Jan. 21 shooting. He’s facing charges of First Degree Murder with a Firearm, and Attempted First Degree Murder with a Firearm.
Gamez is described as a Hispanic male who stands 5-feet 7-inches and weighs 160-pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. Lopez is a Hispanic female with black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5-feet 4-inches and weighs 130-pounds.
Gamez-Flores is a Hispanic female infant who also has black hair and brown eyes, and weighs 15-pounds and is 18-inches in height. Edward Gamez is a young Hispanic male with black hair and brown eyes. He stands 3-feet tall and weighs 30-pounds.
