And now AMW seems to have posted a lot more frequently lately. They basically stopped posting that much after they were cancelled. Oddly enough, for whatever reason, they initially profiled Alexis Flores then quickly deleted him and put Eduardo Ravelo's mug up.
I know I look way into everything. I can hear John Walsh renewed his driver's license and I'll yell out "see John Walsh renewed that's a sign!" but I do find it interesting they seem to be posting on a daily basis again. (I don't count Wednesday through Friday of last week since that was the Independence Day holiday long-weekend).

They actually didn't update today. Guess I spoke too soon. But they are updating more often. Just saying.

And AMW is once again asking us to follow John Walsh on Facebook. Now I don't want to get anyone's hopes up, but why would they ask us to follow him twice in one month if he wasn't planning on announcing *something*. As I've said before, I am desperate and over-interpret everything as signs but I sort of have a positive intuition about this.

Ugh!!!!! Looks like child safety for the summer after all. I'll tune into the View anyway on the very and I mean very slim off-chance he mentions AMW but this is annoying. John, with all due respect, I love ya, but another reason we want to see you on tv is to announce the return of AMW. Parents can google child safety tips, or YouTube your prior appearances about it. Showing up on tv for any other reason than to say AMW or a re-branded AMW is back is just a tease but I'll still watch!

Ok so it wasn't just child safety tips like on Fox and Friends earlier but he did talk about the FBI's recent sex trafficking sting and his correct prediction that the Amanda Berry and Gina DeJesus cases were related. In the sex trafficking thing, he mentioned a case of a pimp who murdered a girl who tried to go to court. The answer is going to be obvious once it's said to me but I have gotten very little sleep this week, so someone help me out here.
It's also discouraging that although he wasn't introduced as the "former" host of AMW, he did talk about AMW as if it was in the past tense. He used the word "worked on." But you never know I guess...

John Walsh has announced he is filming a video at US Marshals headquarters today. I am no longer going to drive you guys crazy and call every little thing a sign but I am very interested to see what it is he filmed at USMS HQ!

He's posted some photos too. What might be this be. Anyone want to take any guesses?

Sure AMW will announce this also but I learned John Walsh's interview with Katie Couric will air this Tuesday. The show airs at 3 PM eastern on ABC in New York but check your local listings to make sure!

A decent show. One thing I find interesting is usually he's introduced as AMW or former AMW host John Walsh and today he was introduced as simply "John Walsh". I did find it amusing though that his intro music was the AMW theme song from the last years on Fox (and part of Lifetime as well) They interviewed a child sex trafficking survivor, parents of a missing girl who may have been sex trafficked, and went undercover in a Houston sting operation that recovers missing sex trafficking victims.

I almost never remember to watch these things, but without any confirmation on a new network for AMW, I feel I didn't miss much. In the event that AMW doesn't return to air, I wonder if Walsh is using his status in the crime-fighting world to make a difference by informing people about current issues and doing shows like this. It's a good thing he's doing this, don't get me wrong.

I feel the same way. As you said, it's great he's doing this. And this is a much more important topic than say summer safety tips which are fun but something you can google, but for AMW fans, to see him constantly on tv without an announcement about the return of AMW is a bit of a tease. And the public needs to be aware of sex trafficking. But I hope AMW realizes that the main reason we want to see John on tv is to announce the return of AMW. And occasional appearances on tv are great, but not a replacement for the show. Still, this is an important topic that needs to be dealt with.

Walsh's Facebook page now reflects his new show! Only one problem- his about section still lists amw.com and says to call 1-800-Crime-TV. I really hope they edit that soon. Especially since as I mentioned before, the old Crime-TV number is now a phone sex hotline
