Olivera Hernandez is wanted for the murder of Ernesto Galvan, a former worker of his.
The Galvans came to the U.S. from Mexico and worked many jobs to make their lives better. 16 year old Juan Carlos and 17 year old Ernesto worked in construction for Hernandez. The pay was good, but Hernandez constantly berated and insulted Ernesto, even in front of his family. Eventually, Hernandez fired Ernesto, who didn't seem to mind all that much. One day, while the two brothers were on a bike ride, they ran into Hernandez, who offered them a job, which they accepted. Juan Carlos left, but Ernesto stayed behind to talk to Hernandez. That was the last time Ernesto was seen alive.
No one knows what happened; some speculated that Hernandez had been drinking heavily, but police say whatever happened ended with Hernandez shooting Ernesto multiple times. A salesperson who was selling a house Hernandez was working on noticed blood on the carpet and Ernesto's bike nearby. Cops searched the entire neighborhood and few days later, they found Ernesto's body in a shallow grave.
One thing about Hernandez is that we're not certain about his age as of this posting in 2014. The old site would put him in his 80's today, while the newer one had him in his 70's. With that age, and the fact that he was a heavy drinker, I'd assume he's probably not alive. He probably spent his last years in Mexico.

UPDATE from site admin: It has now been five years since theczar's original posting and I have found no new articles since. This is unsurprising considering is it is a cold case, so as far as I can tell Hernandez is still ar large as of this update (7/23/2018). However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
