"Police say Juan Tlapa killed his roommate in an argument over beer money. Martin Yanes' body was found on his Birthday August 19th, 2003 in a wooded area behind the church. Police say Tlapa has been on the run now for twelve years. They have never been able to verify that Juan Tlapa is his real name. Police say when Tlapa fled he could have changed his name but police say he walks with a noticeable limp and has a 10 scar on his back from a 1996 car accident."
Thoughts? The above was an edited (by me) version of AMW's old archive description of this case. Tlapa was aired on AMW radio but never on the show itself. As far as I know, Tlapa is still at large. However, if anyone has proof otherwise, please feel free to let us know.
P.S. If someone can explain to me what the heck a "10 scar is" I'd like to know what that is as well. (Edit: Perhaps they mean 10-inch scar)
