On November 25, 1996, 66-year old businessman Robert Gordon went to protect his shrew from a pitbull that was attacking it. The owner of the pitbull, Noe Garcia went outside and attacked Robert, fighting for Gordon's gun. In the struggle, Robert was shot to death. Noe was arrested for Robert's murder and was given a $100,000 bond. That bond was reduced to $60,000 and bond companies split up the total. Noe posted the bond and has been on the run ever since.

Thoughts? According to the AMW Master Fugitive List, Noe Garcia was once aired on AMW in the late 1990s. A 2009 article about this case features Robert Gordon's family and their frustration with the lack of results in this manhunt. I completely agree, Robert Gordon was protecting his animal from Noe's animal and was killed because of it. This is one of the stupidest and most senseless murder reasons I have ever heard in my life! Sadly the only good lead once pointed to the border town of Eagle Pass, Texas, but wherever he is, hopefully he will one day be located.

Update from site admin: I could not find any new articles online in the three years since HeadMarshal's original posting on this case. As far as I can tell, Garcia is still at large as of this update (7/23/2018), since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
