Michael Andrews Ocon is one of the LAPD's Most Wanted fugitives. I am assuming he was aired on AMW sometime in the early 2000's since I found an archived description although I don't know the date if he was aired. Below is an archived description of the case I was able to find on a message board:
"Police say Michael Andrews Ocon is wanted, along with a second suspect, for the murder of Theodore Frederick
Brothers on April 22, 2000. The suspects approached Brothers while hewas working on his parked vehicle. The suspects double-parked, exited their vehicle and approached the victim and his brother. Ocon engaged the victim in hostile conversation and then gave a hand signal to the 2nd suspect. The second suspect then pulled out a semi-automatic handgun from his waistband, aimed, and fired numerous times striking the victim. Brothers was transported to the hospital and pronounced "Dead on Arrival".
Thoughts? The second suspect has still never been caught and is still unknown as far I know. The following is the LAPD's description of the unknown suspect, which I stress was from the time of the crime in 2000: "Male, Hispanic, 16-19 Years Old, 5'06" - 5'08", 125-135 Pounds, Thin, Medium Complexion, Has a fresh injury to the upper left lip and received stitches recently, Armed with a semi automatic."
As far as Ocon, he appears to still be at large as well, obviously, although the LAPD's Most Wanted website isn't always up-to-date, so please let us know if his status changes.
