Aparicio Huerta-Quiroz was aired on the February 23rd, 2008 episode of America's Most Wanted. According to a short blurb on one old archive, a woman trying to run away from home flagged down Huerta-Quiroz and three men who happened to be driving by, only to allegedly be sexually assaulted in a cornfield by Huerta-Qurioz while the men in the car with him watched and did nothing.
Unfortunately, there is no full archive description available, but I did find a partial description, from the website inarchive.com, please keep in mind it is partially cut off:
"In the midst of the sexual assault a cop drove up investigating the suspicious truck parked on the side of the road. As the officer approached the three men began yelling into the cornfield for the fourth suspect who they stated was relieving himself. He emerged by himself and talked with the officer. Huerta-Quiroz produced a valid driver's license and the cop let him and his friends go.
A short time later the same cop was in the midst of responding to another call when a report came in of a girl being sexually assaulted in the cornfields near the area where he had just left. The victim had called her father, a Michigan State Trooper, who took her to the local hospital before police returned to the crime scene. By the time they arrived Huerta-Quiroz and his friends were long gone. The pickup truck that Huerta-Quiroz had been driving was located early the next morning and cops talked with the man they found with it. They eventually took him into custody and charged him with kidnapping.
Over the course of their investigation they learned that Huerta-Quiroz was nowhere to be found. He has not been seen or heard from since July 2007. Investigators believe he may have fled to Mexico because as far as they know Quiroz has no family ties in the United States. A warrant is out for his arrest but those who were with him did not participate in the crime so charges are not being sought against them. Now cops from all over the state want to bring Huerta-Quiroz to justice for brutally violating one of their own's dearest family members and they need your help to make that possible."
Thoughts? After taking a week break, (much needed lol), I'm back to profiling fugitives from our master list, so let's start it out right by developing some good theories on Huerta-Quiroz, since, as far as I can tell, he is still at large as of this posting date (10/22/2015). Please let us know if that status changed or ever changes.
