Tampa police are searching for a suspect wanted in the March 21 fatal shooting of a teenager.
Joseph Huggins, 21, who was linked to the crime through forensic evidence, according to Tampa police, is wanted on a charge of second-degree murder.
Huggins is accused of fatally shooting Richard Newton, 14, after a fight broke out at an outdoor birthday party at 8105 Ninth Avenue. Gunfire erupted amid the fight and a bullet struck Newton, who died at the scene.
