Ayoub El-Yaakoubi was a web-exclusive case on AMW's old website. He was profiled as part of a theme highlighting Interpol Red Notice fugitives wanted mainly for crimes outside the United States. Below is the Interpol website description of the case:
EL YAAKOUBI is suspected of killing a woman in October 1992 in Hameenlinna, Finland.
It is alleged that sometime during that night neighbours heard cries from the house that EL YAAKOUBI shared with
his girlfriend. EL YAAKOUBI was allegedly seen to leave the house shortly after but was again seen at the house two days later with two other men.
The body of EL YAAKOUBI’s girlfriend was found buried in a forest in a plastic bag on 31 December 1992.
