Immigration and Custom Enforcement are looking for Recepp Ahmedoff for Deportation.
Ahmedoff came to the United States from Bulgaria in 1974 as a conditional entrant.
In 1978, Ahmedoff was convicted of Involuntary Manslaughter. Law enforcement sources say that on July 4, 1978, Ahmedoff was celebrating Independence Day at a bar and was drinking heavily. He borrowed a gun from one of his friends and went outside. He then fired shots into the air. A bystander was killed by one of these shots. He pled guilty to 2nd Degree Manslaughter and spent five years in jail.
Shortly after getting out in 1983, Ahmedoff was involved in an argument with a co-worker. The other individual allegedly pulled a gun and Ahmedoff claims to have drawn his own and fired into the co-worker's car. Ahmedoff was charged with Attempted Murder and Weapons Possession, but he was only found guilty of Criminal Possession of a Weapon.
Thoughts? The above was from the 2003 AMW archives. This case was aired on the November 8th, 2003 episode of America's Most Wanted as part of a segment about ICE(U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement)'s Most Wanted fugitives. Unfortunately, there's no additional detail from the archive such as height, weight etc. I'm assuming New York is the wanted location (technically he's wanted by the U.S. entirely but as far as where his crimes took place), but please correct me if I'm wrong.
UPDATE from site admin: I have seen no new online articles about Ahmedoff in the past few years. As far as I can tell, he is still wanted as of this update (7/26/2018), since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
Admin Note #1: Based on archive descrption, our advice for anyone with information on Ahmedoff's whereabouts would be to call the ICE hotline at 866-DHS-2-ICE
