Cops Hunt Accused Illinois Wife Killer
Jorge Coronel is accused of killing his wife, Arcelia Flores, around Christmas 1997, then warpping her body in plastic and burying her in a false wall built into her bedroom closet in Chicago.
Investigators say Coronel fled to Mexico with his three children, dropping them off with relatives, then disappeared.
Thoughts? Coronel was aired in 1999 and also on America's Most Wanted 2-hour "World's Most Wanted" special on Fox on April 21st, 2012, which was also the last ever episode of AMW on Fox. It was part of a feature about the Chicago Tribune's findings of the difficulty of finding fugitives who flee to Mexico, even when they hide in plain sight. Although Coronel, unlike other fugitives, has not had any recent sightings in his home town in Mexico, Mexican authorties had apparently stopped looking for him altogether and he was not on a list of fugitives Cook County was seeking extradition from Mexico for.
This case sadly seems to be ignored and forgotten about, and hopefully by posting his picture here, we can put the heat on Coronel again.

UPDATE: I have not found any new articles online since 2012. However, as far as I can tell, Coronel is still at large as of this update (7/23/2018), since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. Of course, as always, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
