Jose Orlando Lopez was aired on the January 26, 2008 and August 30th, 2008 episodes of America's Most Wanted. Below is the archive description of his alleged crimes:
Jose Orlando Lopez Enters U.S Illegally, Again
Cops tell AMW Jose Orlando Lopez is a dangerous sexual predator from El Salvador who keeps coming back to America for his next victims. Police first encountered Lopez on July 8, 1997 during his first arrest in Westbury, N.Y. Lopez had attempted to rape a stranger on a busy street. Luckily, he was caught before completing his attack. He pled guilty to charges of 1st Degree Sexual Abuse and was given a six-month sentence, five years probation, and was deported back to El Salvador.
Lopez entered the country illegally again in 1999 and was immediately arrested. He was charged with illegal reentry and given a 120-day sentence. For the second time, Lopez was deported and sent back to El Salvador, but it didn't keep him away for long.
No Regard For The Law
On Oct. 8, 2004, police learned Lopez had crossed the border into the U.S. to find his next victim. This time, he was keeping it in the family. Lopez was allegedly sexually abusing his stepdaugther, but before authorities say they could arrest him, Lopez vanished. They believe family members tipped him off of the impending arrest.
Lopez has not been seen since, and U.S. Marshals have few clues to his whereabouts. They do know that Lopez has worked as a mason in the past and is probably still in the same line of work. Marshals also believe he could be hiding out in the New England, New York City, California, or Florida.
Thoughts? Kind of ironic just like Jose "Pepin" Lopez, this Jose Lopez is wanted for child sex crimes in Suffolk County, NY and apparently both lived in Brentwood, NY as well. As far as I know, this Jose Lopez is still at large as well. Even though he's from El Salvador, since he kept coming back here until 2004, it wouldn't surprise me if Jose Orlando Lopez was still in the United States somewhere.

UPDATE: I could not find anything new online the past few years. While I am assuming Lopez is still wanted as of this update (7/20/2018) since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
