For the first time in a long time, we have a fugitive case from a new crime show- not AMW, The Hunt, or Unsolved Mysteries, or even the Justice Network, but the syndicated crime show "Crime Watch Daily" which features a wanted fugitive at or towards the end of every episode. Below is the description for Suzanne Agnes Berron, wanted by the LAPD:
"Suspect was an Executive Secretary for Shammas Investment Corporation and embezzled $400,000.00. Suspect has been known to hang out at Office Max and San Roque Post Office on Milpas Street and Foothill Boulevard. The suspect appears elderly, wears gray wigs and has a sister who resembles her."
Thoughts? I estimated 1998 as the wanted year since they said that's how old Berron was at the time of the crime, but it could be a year later technically. Also, I'm not sure how relevant the stuff about hanging out at Office Max is considering it's now roughly 17 years later.
$400,000 is a lot of money but in this day-and-age, I'm not so sure it can last a life-time, so it is conceivable that A) Berron had to get another job eventually or B) She found a guy to mooch off of.
