With news of AMW's cancellation I was wondering if this forum could also contain threads on non-amw fugitives. After all, we will have come up with new cases from somewhere if AMW won't be bringing them up. Unfortunately, it won't be difficult to find stand-out cases. Much of the information can be located from local and state most wanted websites through www.fugitivehunter.org/usmostwanted.html which convinently lists these webpages. Now I have an idea to continue Year-End Most Wanted Lists. It may or may not work. The contenders would be the new fugitives I or others post in a given year. To make sure we don't clear out the contender pool in one year, I would post only one new fugitive case per week and I encourage others to follow my lead. Thoughts?

I was actually thinking about a non-AMW fugitives section! And after the news of AMW's cancellation, that is when I thought of it again! Especially with AMW cancelled for the time being, this forum could become an opportunity to give attention to cases no one knows about. It won't have the reach of AMW, but any attention is good. I'm still giving us credit for Gary Irving's capture. J/K I'll look into what I can do with the forums. Sometimes you can only do so many categories or sub-categories. I tried to make a fugitive by decade section but had to change it to just "cold case" since I couldn't do that many. I'll see what I can do.

as far as year-end lists, we can make a "forum top 10 of 2013" in the horrible worst case scenario of there being no AMW-this year. But my year-end top 10 lists I plan on still making AMW-related.
I think regardless of if and when AMW comes back, there probably won't be enough for a personal AMW list this year. I'll probably edit and put "Not enough fugitives" or something like that.
