I Hate saying if and not when, but if AMW is able to strike a deal with a network, not who do you want it to be, but who do you think it will be? I actually voted for a wild card- everyone's main complaint about AMW now being on Lifetime was that people who didn't have cable couldn't see it. So I could actually see Walsh and company striking a deal with My Network TV, a regular affiliate Fox owns, to get it back on broadcast. Not the same as Fox, but it should still draw more viewers than Lifetime which despite what's being said had good ratings but not broadcast ratings. I also can see it on TruTv. Heck, they used to show Final Justice when it was Court Tv, and still air Cops reruns. Spike TV used to air Unsolved Mysteries, after it was cancelled by Lifetime (see the correlation! ). Even Oprah Winfrey's network could be looking for a splash. So many channels to choose from. Let's hope something positive happens!

When Fox canceled AMW in May 2011, I recall there was speculation at the time that the show could go to MyNetworkTV, since the network is a Fox property. When it comes to possible alternatives for AMW, MyNetworkTV is my second choice behind first-run syndication. But given the fact that MyNetworkTV is a syndication programming service, if AMW were picked up by that network, it would be a syndicated show anyway. Moreover, following the show's 2011 cancellation, John Walsh felt there was potential for AMW as a first-run syndicated program, publicly stating that the show "could go into syndication big time."

Good call! I guess you can also My Network TV syndication or any network tv syndication. Since AMW was initiated by Fox and distributed by Twentieth Television, I can just imagine the show being carried on Fox stations, both Fox affiliates and MyNetworkTV affiliates. And by seeing AMW a first-run series in syndication and on a so-called "mini-network", the viewers could end up having the best of both worlds. Anyone who wants MyNetworkTV to carry the series should write to them and ask them to do so. I am planning to do that myself. The address is: MyNetworkTV 1211 Avenue of the Americas 21st Floor New York, NY 10036

I didn't want to say too much and get people's hopes up, but since the topic of MyNetwork is being brought up, I actually commented on their Facebook page suggesting they pick up AMW a week or so ago, and actually got a "likes this" from them and told "keep watching you never know" or something like that and they actually told another poster who commented before me and also suggested it "whatever happens it won't be until the fall. Stay tuned to find out." I thought it was a bit unusual since they usually just say "we'll look into it" or a simple "you never know" to show suggestions. Maybe they're leaving all options open, but it made me a tiny bit hopeful they seemed to be at the very least winking at the possibility.
I agree MyNetworkTv would be a great fit and since Fox owns it, there would be no worry of license fees. My only concerns are the network usually shows reruns of cable shows and nothing suggests they will add more original programming in the future and the local sports programming on my station could delay some episodes (I missed a Fox episode once when a Mets game went 18 innings), but overall it's the best realistic scenario of a new network. MyNetwork would also be my first choice, with the ID channel being a close second.

Anyone have anymore votes? I changed my mind and switched my vote to the ID channel since it seems such a perfect fit. I also realize I made this poll before the CMT rumor happened but here are two channels I just thought of that you're going to think I'm nuts but I have some logic here. I stress this is only me saying this and there is absolutely no proof and nothing stated in the media that these channels would be interested. Oxygen- As much as I hate the idea of AMW being on a woman's channel again (sorry if that sounds wrong. I'll watch it on any network- but it should be more general), they do air the crime show "Snapped" and also air Law & Order reruns. I know what network doesn't air L & 0 reruns, but they do have some crime-oriented programming on there. Bravo- This is probably the biggest WTF? for me even suggesting this. The only reason I am is I read that the new VP of Production at Bravo, Kathleen French, actually used to be a Producer at America's Most Wanted. ( www.nbcuniversal.presscentre.com/Content/Detail.aspx?ReleaseID=15954&NewsAreaID=2&ClientID=5 ) Bravo is a lifestyle channel that shows such as Real Housewives and if anything has a reputation as being the "gay channel" (not that there's anything wrong with that ) I sincerely doubt it and would give it a 0.5 out of 100 percent chance since I don't see how you can make a logical argument as to why AMW would be a fit. There's not even a crime-type show on there. But networks sometimes do change their focus, A&E used to be an arts channel and now besides Duck Dynasty is crime-oriented (I always found ironic that Lifetime picked up AMW, since you'd think A&E, who is owned by the same people who own Lifetime would be a better fit). I'm only mentioning it since a former AMW producer is now a bigwig there, there's a reason to argue for that "snowball's chance"

I may not have actually put my vote in before. So I casted my vote for Investigation Discovery.
