The San Jose police and the FBI are now seeking Salvador Negrete Suarez on warrants charging him with Murder and Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution. Detectives report that on December 26, 1990, the victim and a passenger were driving southbound on Freeway 101 near Guadalupe Parkway in San Jose. Suarez allegedly pulled alongside of the victim’s vehicle and shot him several times, killing him. The victim crashed and CHP was dispatched to a reported car crash. When the CHP officers arrived they discovered the victim had been shot to death. Suarez is believed to have fled to Mexico but may have returned to the area and may be living here under an unknown alias.
Thoughts? Unfortunately, there's no info on how Suarez knew the victim, as to whether this was some type of road rage or a targeted shooting.

Haven't found any new articles online since Fugitive Watch posted this case in 2012. As far as I can tell, Suarez is still at large as of this update (7/29/2018), since I haven't found anything online suggesting otherwise. However, if anyone has any updates/proof-of-updates one way or the other, they are always more than welcome to let us know.

As of today, September 22, 2021, there has still been no movement in the UFAP case for Salvador since 1994, according to PACER. The fact that it has not been dismissed without prejudice gives me hope that the FBI is still working actively to try to locate and apprehend Salvador.
