I decided to put this in general AMW section since the National Crime Museum- where AMW's studio was located in the basement during their years on Fox- will be closing at the end of September. Apparently the Property Management Group that owns the building is forcing them out. The CEO says they will look for a new location in DC, or at least a group to sell their merchandise, but the original location that housed the set where we watched John Walsh announce bad guys every week will soon be gone. I personally am glad I got to see the museum before it closed (although the main studio was sort of closed for some sort of special event, I still got to see the stairs that led down to it and walk through part of it at least). And yeah one problem is they charge something like $21.95 while other museums in DC are free. Based on the Property Manager apparently setting the rent high though, and this not being a Government-funded museum, it seems like they really didn't have much of a choice but to charge a high admission fee. It is an awesome museum with lots of cool AMW-related stuff, do I suggest stopping by to check it out if you have time before the end of September. I hope they find a new location. www.washingtonpost.com/news/local/wp/2015/08/31/crime-museum-is-closing-at-the-end-of-september/
