In around May 2014, a man named Demarkus Trambler was shot at in a Louisville, Kentucky neighbourhood. Two men, Duwan "Gator" Mason Jr., and Michael Dunn wanted revenge and thought the shooter lived in or near the home of Cierra Twyman and her 16-month old daughter, Ne'Riah Miller. In August 2014, Duwan and Michael abducted a man and had him drive them to Cierra's home. Cierra's uncle stated that he saw six men then open fire on their home with guns, Cierra and Ne'Riah were both struck, tragically Ne'Riah died from her injuries. No one in the home was suspected of being the shooter and one theory was that the shooter lived next door to Cierra.
Four men including Michael Dunn were arrested for the murder of Ne'Riah and the attempted murder of Cierra. They are still in the court process and are considered innocent until proven guilty in the court of law. Duwan Mason Jr. is the only suspect still at large in the murder of Ne'Riah Miller.

Thoughts? Duwan Mason Jr. doesn't seem like a criminal mastermind so it's sort of unusual for him to have remained on the run for a year, however the lack of national media exposure up until this thread being posted doesn't help matters. Anyway, as we've seen in other cases, you do not settle disputes by shooting at who you assume is responsible, otherwise innocent people can die and children are sadly not an exception.
And to honour the short life of the Ne'Riah Miller, her photo is posted below.
