Yeah I've heard of second and third chances but Greci seems to have been given about his 6,77,899th chance.

Yeah I've heard of second and third chances but Greci seems to have been given about his 6,77,899th chance. I think the original charges he was profiled on getting thrown out went to his head and made him think he could get away with anything which is not a good thing with someone who is a life long career criminal. Here's hoping he is locked up for good this time.

I've seen some folks commenting on articles about him that if the courts hadn't overturned his conviction, this wouldn't have happened. They're right but the reality is the DA and cops screwed up in the original case and you can't let convictions stand because someone may commit a crime in the future. I will say this, I don't think Grenci will walk this time but it's a shame someone had to lose their life to lock him up for good.

patch.com/new-jersey/berkeley-nj/berkeley-man-accused-murder-charged-child-porn-policeBelieve it or not, the saga of AMW Capture #827 Angelo Grenci has gotten even worse since his arrest on murder charges. Police got a search warrant to go through his phone to find evidence related to the murder and instead found over 1,000 images of child porn on it. So he is now facing several felony charges related to that on top of the murder charge. Suffice to say, unless he pulls off a prison break, it's safe to say he is going to jail again, this time for life.

He really needed to go for life anyway but hopefully this seals it, just in case he tries to plea down to manslaughter or something on the murder charge.

He really needed to go for life anyway but hopefully this seals it, just in case he tries to plea down to manslaughter or something on the murder charge. What I was thinking too. For all we know, he could claim self-defense and get acquitted of the murder charge. There really is no way you can explain away thousands of images of the vile stuff he had on his phone though and given his record, there is no way any judge worth his or her salt is going to go easy on him. He's going to prison again, this time for good.

Wanted to do an update on a couple of AMW captures with new information I found.
AMW Capture 195 - Florencia A Gooding - A real estate scammer who set fire to a couple of houses involved in her scheme in 1981 which almost killed the families inside those houses. She would flee but AMW would bust her in Miami in 1992. As I mentioned in a previous update, she would be sent back to Connecticut where she would serve 13 years in prison before being released. Due to her age, a lot of folks believed she wouldn't get in anymore trouble and they were right. Gooding led a crime free life until her death in 2019 at the age of 87.
AMW Capture #295 - Fonisha Michelle Jones, #295 - Most AMW Viewers will remember Jones for kicking an AMW camera operator and telling him to the camera out of her face. Jones was wanted out of California for killing her boyfriend's new girlfriend by knocking her out and drowning her in a bathtub, killing her and eight month old unborn child. You would think a crime so brutal would mean someone would never see freedom again but after serving 25 years of a 25 to life sentence, Jones was granted parole in 2019 based on Gavin Newsom not rejecting it. He didn't so she is now a free woman. One can only hope as she has gotten older the same murderous impulses she had as a young woman are no longer there, for society's sake.

Going to provide some more updates in a day or so. I can tell you when it comes to the status of released/deceased inmates, California ranks at the bottom of useful information on that. There are several AMW captures from the early years that are no longer in custody but whether it's because they died or were paroled, I can't say for sure other then those who were convicted of sex crimes, as they would be required to register upon release so I was able to figure out the status of a couple of them that way.

Spoke with 912th. Even though I'm the forum admin hes the one who started the forum directory so if the new AMW does a capture counter he will edit it as well. The only stipulation is we're going to create a new thread for the new captures.

I hope they have the system for how they'll count direct captures set up since towards the end it was a mess with the old one.

Been a while but it's time for some new updates based on info I found.
AMW Capture #1072 - Pierre Dominique Domville - A fugitive who was part of a group that ganged raped a 15 year old girl and sought as part of Operation Orange Tree,a mission to put child predators behind bars. Domville surrendered after being featured on AMW in June of 2009. His original conviction was tossed after it was found out the presiding Judge was facebook friends with the DA. At retrial, he was convicted and sentenced to ten years in prison. Upon his release date in February of 2022, he will be deported from the U.S.
AMW Capture #1077 - James Roy "Beer Bag Shooter" Francis - During a fight he and his brother were having with a grocery store clerk, Francis pulled out a gun and killed the clerk. His brother would be arrested but James fled and stayed on the run until he was busted on July 1st, 2009 in Houston,TX. He would be sent back to Louisiana where he would be found guilty of second degree murder and sentenced to life in prison.
AMW Capture #1110 - Joseph "Hoodie" Roman - Roman was wanted out of NYC for the 2008 murder of a rival drug dealer. He would be busted in Las Vegas and sent back to NY where he was sentenced to 18 years in prison. However, on appeal, his conviction would be overturned and he would be resentenced to 12 years in prison. He was released in July of 2020 and is on parole until 2025.
AMW Captures #1129/#1130 -
Juan Carlos "Psycho" Duran and Dionne Garcia. A drug dealing couple wanted out of Chicago, Duran and Garcia would be busted in October of 2010 in Mexico by AMW viewers. They would be sent back to Illinois where Duran was given 25 years in prison while Garcia was given 16 years. They will be released in 2032 and 2025 respectively.

And this is why, when I was working for a daily newspaper, I didn't accept friend requests from cops/prosecutors/etc. until after I left. I can only imagine what a defense attorney would do if they went on Facebook and saw I was friends with the prosecutor.

My friend works in a DA's office and his boss has been clear about social media as something his employees shouldn't do. Because if the defense can't attack the evidence they'll attack the police, DA etc. and if you have social media accounts where you're friends with the judge or make political commentary that makes it seem like you're biased, bye bye to a conviction.
