Israel Aguirre is one of the Texas Department of Public Safety's Top 10 Most Wanted fugitives. Below is the DPS Most Wanted description of his alleged crimes:
Israel AGUIRRE is a violent criminal alien with arrests for Murder, Theft, Prostitution, and Failure to ID.
In 2002, AGUIRRE was arrested for Theft and Murder. He was convicted of the Theft charge in 2003 and served time in a TDCJ corrections facility. After completing his sentence, he was deported from the US before standing trial on the Murder charge.
In 2005, AGUIRRE was arrested in Dallas for Prostitution and Failure to ID. He pled No Contest and was released on bond in connection to his 2002 Murder charge. He made a series of court appearances between 2005 and 2007 before disappearing.
On September 9, 2007, the Kaufman County Sheriff's Office issued a warrant for AGUIRRE's arrest for Murder.
AGUIRRE has ties to the Dallas, Texas area.
Thoughts? Obviously this is unique case considering we have a male arrested for prostitution. I have no idea if this factor has anything to do with the murder at all, and I can't speculate on that since details are vague. I couldn't find anything about even how the victim was killed. All that is known is his name was Armando Saucedo and he was killed near a lake in June 2002.
I also am wondering- usually I have no problem deporting an illegal alien who commits a crime (I've been stating on the record time and time again not every illegal alien is here to commit crimes- but Aguirre did)- but in this case Aguirre was still being investigated for murder. Why was he deported before he could face justice? It surely had to be known the odds of bringing him to trial were much greater if they kept him in the U.S. as opposed to sending him to Mexico.
In any case, there is at the very least a $5,000 reward being offered by Texas DPS for information leading to Aguirre's apprehension. Hopefully that will inspire someone to do the right thing.
