Years Of Abuse
Police in Lee County, Fla., say Troy Lane Bolin sexually abused his stepdaughter repeatedly between 2002 and 2005. The abuse started when the girl was only 4 years old, and it wouldn't end until she was 7, when police arrested Bolin for sexually assaulting another little girl -- this one a relative by blood.
Unfortunately, police say Bolin's second victim had also kept her silence for years. This victim, a family member of Bolin, says the abuse occured when she was 6 years old. However, she didn't come forward until she was a teenager.
Police held Bolin but worried about the strength of his arrest. Bolin was eventually released with the promise he would appear in court, and prosecutors worked on building their case against him. Police say that's when Bolin's stepdaughter finally came forward, and the decision was made to combine the charges of his two known victims. But when cops went to arrest Bolin, he was long gone.
Cops believe Bolin is a dangerous child predator and worry that he might be claiming more victims while he's out on the run.
An Unusual Character
Police say Bolin has family in Nashville, Ga. They also say he has ties to Tennessee and Oklahoma. Bolin is known to be a heavy smoker, and isn't picky about his brand - cops say you can expect him to be buying and smoking the cheapest cigarettes he can find. Those who know him also say he smokes marijuana.

Thoughts? The above was the archived case description for Troy Bolin, who has managed to stay on the run despite being aired at least four times on AMW. I don't care how many ways this guy cuts his hair, it still surprises me he hasn't been caught yet. He seems to be a rather eccentric character whose behavior would arouse suspicion anywhere. Which leads me to two theories A) He's deceased or B) He is laying low with family somewhere.
