David Durham's house was near the grid area where they searched for Kyron but nothing else connects him to the case.
Polygraphs are thought to be mostly accurate but not foolproof/error-proof which is why they are not allowed as evidence during a trial.

Oh really? I actually didn't know that bit.
Now I understand the polygraphs more clearer and it's a good thing they aren't allowed during a trial.
But onto Kyron, it's just so difficult to piece the day he was last seen as is the same with every missing persons case, but he never got to school that day if I'm not mistaken.

I can't verify it but I remember one person (not here) claiming on another board that Teri failed three lie detectors- not just one- but I can't find that in any articles. (Normally I wouldn't post hearsay but it was a credible person saying this.) In any case, wikipedia gives a good general timeline of Kyron's disappearance. From the first paragraph: "On June 4, 2010, Kyron was brought to school by his stepmother, Terri Horman, who then stayed with him while he attended a science fair. Terri Horman stated that she left the school at around 8:45 a.m. and remembered seeing Kyron walking down the hall to his first class.[4] However, he was never seen in his first math class; instead, he was marked absent for the day and has not been seen since." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Disappearance_of_Kyron_Horman

Oh okay thanks and I knew she failed 3 but I didn't want to post accidental info and I decided to just say 1, but let's hope that she can just explain herself and tell the public look I'm innocent here's what happened and then we'll say okay we believe you but if she did something she needs to come forward.

I think the point is right now Kyron's father's family doesn't really care about her proclamations of innocence- she did that in a magazine interview already. It's the fact that she seems to have been of no help whatsoever that is what has frustrated them. All she's done is claim she's innocent but she hasn't gone out of her way to help out in the search for Kyron.

Oh yeah definitely she should attempt to help the father in searching for Kyron, I mean saw this case I believe it was on AMW I asked myself what happened to this little boy so full of life? His father seemed like he was desperate to find answers like any parent would, but for the families sake I hope they find answers in this case, Kyron has been missing for so many years and some closure or his recovery would help.

One thing I wanted to get off my chest- Kyron's case is one of the most high-profile missing cases on the internet and overall in my opinion and might be a strange comparison but has an online following similar to the Golden State Killer case had before it was solved. Kyron is one of the most popular cases on the internet when it comes to online sleuthing (like us) discussion boards and other social media. His story has also been aired multiple times on America's Most Wanted, he has been aired on Dateline NBC, Crime Watch Daily (before that show was cancelled), Live PD has done a missing segment on Kyron as well. Dr. Phil even has done a show on him.
I feared there would be a few comments online complaining Kyron's segment on In Pursuit was only a brief post-commercial break segment as opposed to a full segment on the case since the articles about In Pursuit's airing in fairness made it look like that. To my surprise (and also in fairness) a lot of comments were confusion rather than complaining from people watching the show thinking it was about Kyron, but I saw other comments expressing disappointment and one person even said "the show wasn't worth watching" because it wasn't about Kyron (screw the victims in the other cases on that episode that needed help apparently).
I'm not trying to sound like a jerk, but I want to stress that Kyron's is one of the highest-profle missing child cases out there from my vantage point as far as getting media attention. Yet for some reason on the internet, the internet sleuths that are attached to his case sometimes act like no one talks about him or go "finally" whenever there's a new media story on him. I even saw someone say Live PD should do a missing segment when they actually have.
I do get it- one thing I was surprised to learn at Crimecon was Abigail Williams and Liberty German's family stating there are people that live right near Delphi that don't know about their case. Their case has some media attention and an internet following- so it told me right there that there really can never be enough media. This isn't the 1960 or 1970's when there was only three tv channels and the public's attention is diverted now. I do get that the average person probably surprisingly has never heard of Kyron Horman.
However, and I am sorry to bring this up, but Kyron's case has been covered a lot more extensively than many minority missing child cases. There are also child abduction cases with known parental kidnappers- those cases are usually more solvable- that have not been covered as extensively.
If Kyron's family or friends or anyone with a direct interest in his case ever come on here- I hope I'm explaining my words well- I want to help them. I hope Kyron's case is solved, by some miracle he's recovered or if sadly foul play is involved those involved will be punished. I want to do everything I can to help them. I care about Kyron. I also am appreciative that it seems from what I read, Kyron's direct family are helping to raise awareness of other missing child cases.
My concerns are specifically with those on the internet with no particular direct connection that represent when internet sleuths get attached to one particular case- which I fear comes at the detriment of other missing child cases and other unsolved crime or missing cases in general. My concern is- if hopefully Kyron's case is resolved one day- will they still pay attention to other cases- or did they only care about that one particular case? For example, the In Pursuit episode that only briefly mentioned Kyron- I get the disappointment or confusion- but how about watching the show any way in support of the other cases on the show where the victims needed help? Vanessa Morales was another missing child briefly mentioned on the show whose family misses her dearly and her family needs help as well.
I had kept my concerns private since I didn't want to sound like a jerk- but I just wanted to make these comments of reassurance that Kyron's case has not been ignored and has in fact been highlighted a lot more than other cases. I personally am surprised that Disappeared has never done a show on Kyron's case- as far as I can tell but besides them he's been on a lot of tv programs.
What I'm trying to say is if you're interested in Kyron's case- if anyone reads this that is highly focused on it. please continue to comment, ask for more media since there can never be enough etc... Just please also share other missing children stories on your Facebook as well, ask the media for coverage on Kyron's and other cases as well. I know this is may be interpreted as a jerk comment, but Kyron is not the only missing child out there, and I only mean that in that a lot of families are missing their loved ones and need help. I don't think people truly grasp the sadly massive amounts of missing children cases out there. I'm sorry to say it, but there to seems to be people that ONLY care about Kyron's case and act like he’s the only missing child in the country while I also desperately want to find Kyron, but I want to find all missing children as well.
So sorry if I sound like a jerk, I am writing this to beg everyone to please never stop caring about Kyron and continue looking for him, just please keep ALL families missing their loved ones in their hearts and minds as well.

There was a 1-hour special on Kyron on ID last night. I haven't gotten a chance to see it but when I do I'll mention if anything new was revealed.

I watched the 1-hour special (as I said I care about Kyron, and actually he reminds me of myself when I was little (young curious kid into CSI and Detective shows) so I connect with his case as well, it was the people complaining about the time In Pursuit devoted and acting like his case is unknown I had a problem with, but thankfully we got a 1-hour special anyway).
Anyway, I don't know if anything was new besides the episode once again being accusatory towards the stepmom and her friend Dede. I've been on the record saying I normally don't like when the finger is pointed at one person, but even though she's never been officially named even a person of interest, I feel like because of her inconsistencies and refusal to show any sense of public caring (besides initially oddly resting her head on Kyron's mom that she wasn't close with at an initial press conference) that Terri has earned her suspicion.
Terri, before Kyron's disappearance, apparently/allegedly was e-mailing back and forth to someone that her husband at the time (Kyron's dad Kaine) was cheating on her. She blamed Kyron for the martial problems and said she hated him and wanted him to die.
Kyron's original mother, Desiree Young, said Kaine also cheated on her. So it seems like he was not the most faithful guy, but that's also no excuse for Terri if she is guilty of any wrongdoing in Kyron's case.

Nothing new to add in terms of discussion, but I'm working on a new project with AMW and who was profiled when, and I made an interesting discovery - Kyron Horman was the last missing child ever profiled on AMW. He was profiled on the Sept. 14, 2012 episode, which was fifth-to-last episode. I haven't seen the episode in some time but I do recall it featured John Walsh having a sit-down interview with Kyron's father to talk about the case.
