A high profile missing child case was profiled on AMW last September 14th. Kyron Horman, whose tenth birthday was last September, disappeared from his Oregon neighborhood on June 4th, 2010. A lot of speculation has surrounded his stepmother, Terri Horman who has been accused by family members of being uncooperative. But regardless of whether or not she was involved, Kyron has still not been located and no one has been arrested in the case. Linked below is Horman's AMW profile and in a rarity, an actual AMW on Lifetime full segment youtube clip, the complete airing of the September 14, 2012 segment and John Walsh's interview with Kyron's father. www.amw.com/missing_children/case.cfm?id=73203www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pl1BuD-chcNCMEC link: www.missingkids.com/poster/NCMC/1149070/1Admin Note #1: According to missingkids.org, anyone having information should call 1-800-THE-LOST or the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office (Oregon) 1-503-823-3333 or 1-503-261-2847 (tip line)UPDATE: As of March 25th, 2020, anyone having information on Kyron's case can also call or text "In Pursuit" on the Investigation Discovery channel at 833-378-7783 and/or submit a tip at the show's website: www.InPursuitTips.com

Another crime-centric blog has brought up the case of fugitive David Durham in this investigation because Durham's house was close to a search grid in Kyron's investigation (I think). Although no one close to the investigation has ever brought this up and I'm struggling to find a connection between Durham and Kyron's stepmother (who most likely orchastrated Kyron's disappearance).
It's unfortunately likely that the stepmother killed or had Kyron killed as revenge against Kyron's father.

Another strange update in the case- Terri Horman has been hired as a mental health specialist under the name Terri Moulton (her parents' last name). I personally don't have a problem with this. While I do hope she is brought to justice if she has anything to do with Kyron's disappearance, she is at the moment innocent until proven otherwise, so she shouldn't be denied job opportunities while not being arrested for anything. Just to clarify, this is not my opinion on whether or not I think Terri Horman is guilty or innocent. It's my personal opinion that there are things that bother me about Terri's cooperation or said lack thereof. It's just legally speaking while an employer has a right to choose who they want to hire for any reason, I have no problem with them hiring someone who technically has a clean criminal record that they think is the most qualified, even if I personally am suspicious of that same person. www.oregonlive.com/portland/index.ssf/2015/02/terri_horman_hired_as_mental_h.html

And now Terri Horman has quit that job. I still have a lot of questions about her and what she knows, but I don't care what she does that isn't illegal so whatever happens with her and her job searches is irrelevant to me. The Judge also, however, was right to deny her name change. She is a person of interest in a missing child investigation- so it is against the public interest for her to change her name. Apparently Horman was being harassed which led her to quit. If she really does know anything about what happened to Kyron, perhaps instead of trying to change her name and such, she should admit to what she knows to get all the attention off her back. Still a really sad missing child case, but also a really bizarre one as well. www.kgw.com/story/news/2015/02/21/terri-horman-leaves-job-eugene/23799587/

Link to 'Crime Watch Daily''s page on this case. They profiled Kyron on their show today. There are two videos on the page which are parts 1 and 2. Apparently, Terri Horman was on the verge of being charged, according to Kyron's birth mother, who claims that the Casey Anthony acquittal changed everything. (Anthony was acquitted with a body but never really a definitive cause of death, in this case, there's not even a body.) I don't doubt the Anthony decision may have something to do with this, but I've also seen plenty of other cases prosecuted without a body. Unfortunately, in this case, it doesn't seem there's enough circumstantial evidence to charge anyone yet. crimewatchdaily.com/2015/11/25/the-search-for-missing-oregon-boy-kyron-horman/

Terri Horman has spoken out in an interview with People Magazine, coming public and insisting she has nothing to do with Kyron's disappearance. Horman also blames "poor hearing" and being partially deaf in her left ear for failing her polygraph test. I personally am not sure how good an excuse that is and there's rumors she failed more than one, but at the end of the day despite the speculation and even me admittedly not being entirely trusting of Terri, I do hope if we ever find out what happened to Kyron that she didn't have anything to do with it, and anyone else close to Kyron didn't have anything to do with it. Obviously the best case scenario would be him somehow against all odds being found alive, but unfortunately I'm not holding my breath on that either. www.people.com/article/kyron-horman-stepmother-terri-life-fugitivewww.mercurynews.com/crime-courts/ci_29409865/kyron-hormans-stepmother-finally-speaks-about-missing-boy

Kyron's birth mother, Desiree Young, has responded to Terri Horman's People magazine interview, saying she still believes Terri is behind Kyron's disappearance and the interview was an "atrocity" made to be about her and not Kyron. One thing I can say and as been pointed out but Kyron's actual mother and others , if Terri is now coming forward and saying she had nothing to do with it, then she should have no problem cooperating with the police again. Or doing more than just saying "I'm innocent" in general. Like helping the family and police out. I do agree Terri is innocent until proven guilty, as I've stressed before, but it's her seeming lack of caring that seems to concern others in this case. Whether she is concerned or not, those involved perceive her as not caring. www.kptv.com/story/31017312/kyron-hormans-mother-responds-to-terri-hormans-interview-its-an-atrocity

When I read this case it makes me see stepmom Terri Horman as a bad apple in all this, coming from her there are so many excuses and her being not as cooperative in the investigation and she failed a polygraph test. Right now I see her as the bad apple, but all that can change once she comes clean or better explains her innocence without saying any excuses like in the interview with her hearing and all.
Clearly this is a case of someone looking like a bad apple but it's hard to tell if she's responsible or not without any confession, body or even an actual explanation as to what happened to Kyron. Even an 8 year old is smart enough to point to Terri Horman as the suspicious one allegedly responsible in Kyrons disappearance.

I'm aware that the general public alone can not convict someone. 90 percent of people could believe someone is guilty and they're somehow innocent. But there's just so many red flags when it comes to Terri Horman that they're impossible to ignore.
If she is somehow innocent, well in my opinion she sure hasn't helped herself in her behavior up to this point.

My apologies it took long to respond I just saw this but Use I agree her behavior alone isn't helping her even if she is found innocent.
The court of public opinion has ruled Terri Horman is guilty because of her suspicious and somewhat uncooperative behavior doesn't help get the public opinion on her side.

I should stress Terri Herman hasn't been charged with any crime yet to be "found" guilty or innocent. But there's still so many concerns when it comes to her.

Yes there are, Terri Horman was the last one with Kyron, we all know that and she failed a polygraph test (are those accurate?).
Also I remember a while back I read an article that they may have thought David Durham was involved and the details here are a bit complicated but that Terri Horman hired a landscaper and may have been involved in the disappearance but it came out that the landscaper wasn't Durham.
