With a lot of people frustrated at Lifetime taking FOREVER to announce the return of AMW's new season, it has me wondering what life (no pun intended) would have been like had AMW moved to a different network instead of Lifetime. This is only a poll meant for fun/curiosity reasons. AMW will be returning to Lifetime by all accounts, even if we elect the next President by then. (Who would have thought we'd decide on a new Pope before Lifetime decided the return date? It's been that long ) So please don't take it the wrong way. This is not a poll asking what the new network will be, but what network you PREFER AMW be on. I think most people would vote for AMW to return to Fox (even me at this point, that's how frustrated I've gotten) or another broadcast network if given a choice, so that's a given. So instead I've relegated this to cable networks only if we unfortunately didn't have a choice. Even though my first choice is a broadcast network with their cable station airing repeats (Fox and their channels, NBC and MSNBC, etc...) Anyway, if I had my choice, I'd prefer AMW be on the ID channel. It's a growing/popular channel and fits in with the overall theme of crime and news magazine shows on it. They already have some cheesy re-enactments on some of the shows as well. Not to mention, perhaps they can rerun AMW on their sister channel Discovery like Lifetime was SUPPOSED to do with A&E (boy did that stop fast).

I'm also assuming ID would be more likely to show off-season repeats unlike Lifetime

I wouldn't be able to decide, but I'd think of one that's relatively cheap to buy service from, and specializes in crime and ending manhunts. Fox News was ruled out most easily, because Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity hate more people than they like. They especially loathe the most helpless people in America. On that note, I might be confusing their actual newscasting with their opinions and editorials, but who wants to take that chance?
EDIT: TruTV stood out amongst the choices. They're a criminology network, so I finally voted for them.
EDIT 2: Though, if the "Fox wants more money and is now playing hardball with Lifetime" rumors are true, changing networks wouldn't solve it.

Well I figure the other networks may be more willing to spend than Lifetime. They supposedly cancelled Drop Dead Diva, one of their most popular shows, because of production costs. Fan petitions forced them to bring the show back (should we start a petition with AMW? I mean for a show they haven't cancelled) But anyway, I agree TruTV would be a good fit, although it would have been an even better fit back when it was Court TV. After all, AMW: Final Justice aired on it.

Looks like this poll has taken on new meaning.... As said before though, Fox owns AMW rights, so we have to hope another cable network or syndication picks them up.
Fox still has a chance to reverse their 2011 mistake as well. Not likely considering Cops is now getting the same cut-back treatment AMW would have got.

Here's something odd. I've been writing and posting to a few channels. I saw on OWN's page someone suggest AMW and their response to them was they are not allowed to accept unsolicited ideas for shows. I will have to use internet lingo to adhere to my own forum's guidelines and ask WTF? Granted, OWN wouldn't even be my fourth choice, but Oprah has money, it's better than nothing and it's disappointing to see that response.
