State police tell AMW Ronald Amate -- a convicted sex offender-- is loose in West Virginia, and they need your help to find him.
Amate did seven years in a New Jersey prison for sexual assualt charges. When he got out, he made his way down to "wild and wonderful" West Virginia.
But the state isn't wild enough to accommodate Amate: He never registered as a sex offender, and police are concerned that he's at risk to offend again."
That is a brief description of the case of Ronald Amate, who was aired briefly on the February 26th, 2011 50 States/50 Fugitives special on AMW.
What the airing or website didn't mention are the exact details of what Amate was accused of.
On March 26, 1993, Amate was convicted of 2nd Degree Sexual Assault and Attempt to Commit 2nd Degree Sexual Assault in the state of New Jersey. The victims were two females, one five and one 12 years old.
Thoughts? We don't need to see allegedly here, Amate is a convicted and known predator. And to make matters worse, no one knows where he is. I don't have any thing I can think of as far as possible whereabouts- I just hope he gets caught.
