Just a reminder that in a few weeks, if Bhadreshkumar Patel doesn’t get caught, it’ll be 8 years since the murder of Palak Patel. Also Bhadreshkumar Patel is the longest running fugitive of the 2010s additions at almost 6 years surpassing Yaser Said (Alejandro Castillo isn’t far behind as well).
What is everyone’s opinion on how and why Patel has managed to stay on the run this long?, something has to finally give so he can be caught and pay for what he did.

Its tough to say. Perhaps he went back to India but then again Said was hiding in plain sight in Texas.
Yes the main argument against Patel going back to India was supposedly that's what the argument with Palak was about, but that's also just supposedly and there could have been more to it- or he's the kind of guy callous enough to go "what was that? I murdered my wife because I didn't want her to go back to India- but I'm going back there anyway".
I still see Canada as the "compromise" possibility for Bhadresh- not that he deserves any compromise- but as far as his way of thinking- North American lifestyle he wanted to move to but still another country to stay under the radar.

I couldn't agree more, I have always thought Canada to be the landing spot for this guy

We know his visa had expired, and anyone is more than welcome to correct me if I am wrong, but I think he would have a difficult time leaving the country if that was the case.

I can tell you from experience it was much harder to enter the US from Canada than it was to enter Canada from the US at that time. I frequented Montreal have never had my ID checked to cross the border into Canada, coming back was a different story

Patel was added to the Top Ten List, 6 years ago today, breaking the record for the longest running Top Tenner of the 2010s

I had coffee with a friend that works in Human Resources and he was telling me about a situation where there was a set of sisters that looked very closely alike and less than 15 months apart in age. The younger sister caught a couple of felony convictions at 18 for assault & robbery and ended up doing some time behind bars. The older sister would let the younger sister use her information to land jobs through temp agencies and other unsuspecting businesses. All this to say, If he’s still in the USA it would be easy for him to fly under the radar and use a relative’s IDs to land work (let the Patel, Patel, Patel, Patel, Patel, Patel audio play in your head). If he’s got a brother I’d suspect that to 100% be happening. Just needs to slip up against someone who knows better.

Calling it now. This will be just like the Yasser Abdel Said scenario just the Indian version. Family has more money but also more relatives. Its only a matter of time before someone turns him in.
