Robert Morales is one of the FBI's Most Wanted for Violent Crimes and Murders on their website. Below is their wanted poster description of his case:
"Morales is wanted for the alleged murder of two men and the attempted murder of a woman in Los Angeles, California. On July 31, 2000, Morales allegedly shot and killed a man waiting at a bus stop. On November 9, 2000, Morales allegedly shot and killed a fellow MS-13 gang member, and fired several shots at the victim's girlfriend.
On January 22, 2001, the Superior Court of Los Angeles County issued an arrest warrant after Morales was charged with two counts of murder and one count of attempted murder. A federal warrant charging Unlawful Flight to Avoid Prosecution was issued by the United States District Court, Central District of California, on January 17, 2007.
Thoughts? I put 2007 as the wanted year since that's when the federal warrant was issued, however, Morales has actually been wanted by L.A. county since 2001. So 14 years on the run, while I hate to give a fugitive credit, Morales has certainly earned the nickname "Casper" since he's turned into a ghost. The difference is Casper was a friendly ghost, and based on the crime description, Morales is allegedly not very friendly. And since Morales is allegedly shooting into public bus stops, it's amazing so far no bystanders have gotten hurt. Let's flush Morales out of hiding. If you know where he is, call the FBI.
