The U.S. Marshals Service believes a dangerous fugitive wanted for murder could be in Jacksonville, according to officials.
Darrell Leon Willis, 47, has been on the run since 2005 after he was accused of shooting three men in Palatka during a drug deal, said Mike Pagliughi, supervisory inspector for the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force.
Willis is suspected of killing another man at a Daytona Beach night club in October 2013. Pagliughi said that shooting happened over a argument and the suspect missed his intended target and hit 28-year-old Jeriell Lesane in the head.
Pagliughi said people who know Willis have told law enforcement he always carries a gun. He said the task force knows Willis has recently been in Jacksonville and has family here who may be helping him hide.
Willis is a black man, 5-foot-11 and about 175 pounds with gold teeth and long dreadlocks. Pagliughi said he doesn’t think Willis’ appearance has changed much, but he may have more gray hair.

Thoughts? According to articles, Willis has had family members also arrested on drug charges but still have refused to give Willis up. Willis also has numerous other warrants according to articles, and the FDLE wanted search system seems to confirm that, as multiple warrants come up including "assault" and "dangerous drugs."
This is a very dangerous alleged criminal obviously, and while I always stress not to approach any fugitive, I feel the need stress that even more in this case, but I can assure everyone the Marshals are very professional and good at what they do and you can't go wrong by calling them if you know Willis's whereabouts.
Also, he is believed to be in Jacksonville. But if you believe you know where Willis is currently hanging out, be it Jacksonville, Florida, another state, or another country, please do the right thing and call it in. This guy is way too dangerous to not be caught yet.
