Lee WackerhagenDOB: Sep 19, 1953 Age (as of 12/26/2017): 64 Sex: Male Race: White Hair Color: Blonde Eye Color: Blue Height: 6'0" Weight: 230 lbs Chance WackerhagenMissing Since: Dec 26, 1993 Missing From: Lockhart, TX DOB: Sep 2, 1984 Age (as of 12/26/2017): 64 Sex: Male Race: White Hair Color: Blonde Eye Color: Blue Height: 4'8" (In 1993) Weight: 75 lbs (In 1993) ---- In 1993, Lee Wackerhagen and his wife Gaye Williams were separated and living in Kingsville, Texas. In December of that year, their nine-year old son Chance, went to live with Lee for eight days. He was supposed to return to his mother on Dec 25, but then called his mother and asked to stay with his father for a few more days. Two days after that, the body of Lee's girlfriend, Latricia White was found, she had been shot in the head. Gaye Williams filed a missing person report after learning about Latricia's murder, and an arrest warrant was soon issued for Lee. ---- Thoughts? According to a December 2013 article I found, aside from his 1995 Unsolved Mysteries profile, Lee and Chance were featured at one point on AMW, however I don't know in what year (guessing around the same time as the UM profile). I think the biggest concern would be why Chance, being 30 years old now, not make contact with authorities being an adult and probably living his own life if he's alive. We should hope for the best but also consider that because his father is wanted for murder, that he could have murdered Chance at some point as well. www.missingkids.com/poster/NCMC/788061/1www.kingsvillerecord.com/news/2013-12-25/Front_Page/The_search_for_Chance_goes_on.htmlAdmin Note #1: According to missingkids.org, anyone having information should call 1-800-THE-LOST or the Kingsville Police Department (Texas) 1-361-592-4311 or Texas Department of Public Safety (Texas) 1-210-531-2284Admin Note #2: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

I just watched an UM segment from the 2008 series today. Judging by that, there seems to be some debate as to whether Lee is the actual suspect. Not that he should be ruled out since he has a history of domestic abuse from both his ex-wife and Latricia. But the strange thing according to the segment is that some nights before her murder, Latricia had an argument in which Dub left but the night before Latricia's murder, she Dub and Chance were seen in a restaurant appearing to be fine. Dub's pickup truck was found abandoned thirty miles away in Austin. In it, police found blood that was not White's but were inconclusive to be either Dub's or Chance's. This might be the reason Dub's family believe that both Dub and Chance fell victim. Another strange thing from the segment is that Chance's grandparents received a call in which they thought they could hear Chance saying "Help Me!" before the phone hung up. The grandparents believe it was a trick of false hope.

The grandparents believe it was a trick of false hope. There was someone on Reddit who noted that in 2010, there was an article where police were hoping to identify blood found using advanced DNA testing. Just a hunch, but I am guessing that the evidence they have that Chance and Dub are dead is because they were able to match blood samples to Chance, Dub, or both. I’m wondering if they have any suspects, because they indicated they believe that the perpetrator(s) were familiar with the victims.
