FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — State police are searching for 60-year-old Steven Girtley. He is accused of shooting and killing 36-year-old Justin Girtley during an alleged argument at a home in the Flat Creek Road area on Saturday.
According to investigators, Steven Girtley ran off into a wooded area after the shooting. The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says he was wearing camouflage clothes.
Deputies say Steven Girtley has blue eyes, a grey beard, and is six feet tall.
If you have any information about his whereabouts, you’re asked to contact state police or call 911.

Thoughts? Based on online article postings, Girtley was still at large as of today’s posting date (November 11th, 2024). Sadly, Justin was his own son.
