I remember this case like it was yesterday the reason I remember it sheer brutality Eliza Fletcher was a 34 year old mother and kindergarten teacher and heiress to a multi-million dollar fortune whose life was brutally snuffed out because of the actions of a vile predatory monster named cleotha Ashton he had a criminal record dating back to the 1990s he was a sexual offender with at least one sexual offense he held a another female who resided in Memphis area as well he was charged for holding her at gunpoint and then well proceeded to rape the victim in the sexual assault case the DNA was put into rape test kit and his DNA was found on Fletcher sandals he was scheduled to go on trial next February but he pleaded guilty to 1st degree murder and aggravated kidnapping and will spend Life without parole in the tennessee department of corrections
