From oakbaynews.com:
Three years after Jeremy Gordaneer died in a Victoria home, police agencies are asking the public for more information as a homicide investigation into the death has yet to make any arrests.
The Vancouver Island Major Crime Unit (VIMCU) on Aug. 31 released a timeline on what it said were Gordaneer’s final hours.
Police were called to Gordaneer’s mother's house in the 1000-block of Carberry Gardens around 5 a.m. on Aug. 31, 2021. The 49-year-old was found inside suffering from life-threatening injuries. Police and paramedics provided emergency first aid but Gordaneer died from his injuries.
The major crime unit determined the death to be a homicide and took over the investigation. It's since learned Gordaneer was living in Edmonton at the time and arrived in Victoria to visit family three days before he died.
Police said the man went out for dinner with his daughters at a downtown restaurant around 5 p.m. on Aug. 30, 2021 before he stopped at a pub in the 1100-block of Government Street. He then walked north on Fort Street back to his mother's home and was last seen outside of the Carberry Gardens property at 7:51 p.m.
VIMCU Const. Elyse Patten said they're thankful for all those who provided information so far and added investigators want to hear from those who may have seen a suspicious vehicle or person by the Carberry Gardens home.
Anyone with information is asked to call 250-380-6211.

Thoughts? I am placing Jeremy’s case in the National Media unsolved section because Unsolved Mysteries posted an article about the search for his killer on the “in the news” section of their website.
