 (Above photo credit: San Jose Police Department website) From the San Jose Police Department website- most wanted fugitives section: John David Perkins WANTED FOR MURDER - On June 30, 1990, SJPD responded to a report of a missing person. It was discovered that the missing adult male got into a financial dispute with his roommate, John David Perkins. Homicide Detectives discovered that suspect Perkins beat the victim to death. Newsbank (Newslibrary) archives has a lot of additional details about this case. Perkins was 44-years of age as of a May 1993 article. That means he would be 75-76 now.
Additionally Perkins was profiled on AMW in 1993, according to a 1996 article. I will move this thread to the cases on TV sub forum. In 1995, the remains of the victim, Oliver McDade were found along with a skeleton found near where Oliver’s vehicle was located. Authorities were trying to get Perkins’s dental records to confirm if the skeleton belonged to him or not. I assume that they either got the dental records and they did not match or they never were able to obtain the dental records. It would be helpful if law enforcement could confirm this.
