From newyorkupstate.com:
San Juan, Puerto Rico — A man suspected of brutally murdering a family of four in Upstate New York has been added to one of the U.S. Marshals Service’s most wanted lists.
Luis Francisco Soriano, who is wanted for killing two young children and their parents last month in the Rochester area, is now on the 10 Most Wanted Fugitives List of the U.S. Marshals Service in Puerto Rico. His brother, Julio Cesar Pimentel-Soriano, is in custody for the quadruple homicide.
Investigators believe Soriano, who is wanted for four counts of second-degree murder in Monroe County, has fled to Puerto Rico.
“We will not allow terror, violence and impunity to take over our communities,” said Wilmer Ocasio-Ibarra, U.S. Marshal for the District of Puerto Rico. “That is why we are seeking the public’s assistance in getting this dangerous individual in custody so that he can face justice.”
First responders discovered the quadruple murder after responding to a fire at an Irondequoit home.
Firefighters rushed to 329 Knapp Ave. at 5:23 a.m. Aug. 31 after a 911 caller reported a fire at the two-story home. After quickly putting out the fire inside, firefighters searched the residence and found four bodies, the Irondequoit Police Department said in a news release.
“Due to the condition of the bodies, it was readily apparent that this was going to be a homicide investigation,” police said.
Police identified the people killed as:
Fraime Ubaldo, a 30-year-old man
Marangely Moreno-Santiago, a 26-year-old woman
Evangeline Ubaldo-Moreno, a 4-year-old girl
Sebastian Ubaldo-Moreno, a 2-year-old boy
Authorities said the Soriano brothers conspired to torture and stab the family to death in their Knapp Avenue home before trying to burn down the residence, WHAM reported.
The family’s bodies were found in the basement of the home they had lived in for years, the Associated Press reported.
“This was a horrific scene,” said Irondequoit Police Chief Scott Peters. “In almost 32 years doing this job, I’ve never seen anything like it.”
On Sept. 7, one week after the family was killed, Irondequoit police arrested Julio Cesar Pimentel-Soriano — calling him “one individual responsible for the attack.”
Pimentel-Soriano, 34, is from the Dominican Republic, where Irondequoit police said he is wanted for a 2019 homicide. He entered Puerto Rico illegally, police said, and used a fake New York ID he obtained on the island to enter the continental United States.
Police said they are now focused on arresting Pimentel-Soriano‘s little brother, Luis Francisco Soriano, for the “heinous” attacks.
“Soriano and his co-conspirators committed a horrendous crime against a family, whose children were innocent victims and did not deserve a cruel death,” said Ocasio-Ibarra, the U.S. Marshal for the District of Puerto Rico.
Here’s how the marshals service described Soriano, also known as Jefry Yeyo:
5 feet 6 inches
150 pounds
From the Dominican Republic
Black hair and brown eyes
Four moles under his right eye
Tattoos on both arms
“He should be considered armed and dangerous,” said the marshals service.
Although the brothers are from the Dominican Republic, Irondequoit police said they have family ties to Rochester.
The U.S. Marshals Service asked anyone with information about Soriano’s whereabouts to call (787) 766-6297, (800) 336-0102, or submit tips through the USMS Tips App.

Thoughts? Based on the above article posting date, Soriano aka Jefry Yeyo was still at large as of September 24th, 2024. And yeah normally I wouldn’t ruin the surprise but this is not just mine but I’m sure someone who would likely be every other forum member here’s obvious #1 most wanted fugitive of 2024 if he isn’t caught by the end of the year. (Famous last words as there’s still two months left but I can’t see a case somehow being worse than this by December). I’m way too angry and disgusted to even describe what I think and how I feel right now but let’s hope we don’t have to worry about blasting this alleged monster’s face on our front page later on and we can catch Soriano in Puerto Rico or wherever he’s hiding soon.
