The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information which would lead to the capture of fugitive Betty Viars.
Viars is wanted by the U.S. Marshals Service and the Adult Parole Authority on a probation violation on the original charge of involuntary manslaughter.
Viars, 39, is described as a white female with brown hair and blue eyes, standing 5 feet 3 inches tall.

Thoughts? Based on the above article posting date, Viars was still wanted at least as of September 19th, 2024. An additional article says her original conviction was related to the death of her 4-month-old daughter, Mary Ann Ritchie, but unfortunately the full article is hidden behind a paywall and I can’t access any more details (shame on the Mansfield News Journal, I get protecting overall articles but this is a fugitive case the public should be aware of).
