Andres Eden Garza is the last suspect wanted for the homicide of Oscar Hondal-Lopez. Authorities allege that Andres and his fellow gang members spotted Oscar's vehicle and flashed gang signs at him. Oscar who had no ties to gangs drove away. It is believed that Oscar's car was mistaken for a vehicle involved in an earlier shooting.
Despite this, authorities say the gang members went after Oscar. Andres and a juvenile allegedly fired gunshots into Oscar's car, killing Oscar and wounding his wife. Oscar and his wife were simply driving around at the time, looking for a house that they wanted to buy.
The juvenile suspect and two adults have been arrested for their alleged involvement. Andres is still a fugitive.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact Crime Stoppers Of Yakima County at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) if you have any information on Andres Eden Garza's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, September 16, 2024, Andres is listed on the Yakima County Crime Stoppers website as a wanted fugitive. His 2022 case (the year in which he was charged) shows him as having a warrant in Washington's Odyssey court records database.
My thoughts are with Oscar's family, especially his wife as I hope that they get justice and accountability. If a homicide victim has gang ties, then their death is still tragic and unacceptable. However, this is even more so since Oscar and his wife were simply trying to buy a house and had nothing to do with the earlier shooting. The fact that Oscar and his wife were targeted as a result of mistaken identity shows how dangerous Andres is.
