Michael Cline is wanted in Missouri for the murder of his pregnant fiancee. He was aired briefly on Unsolved Mysteries in 1990, however I don't know if he got an AMW profile in the 1990s.

In the 1960s, Michael Cline went to high school in Lake Winnebago, Missouri with his girlfriend, Jo Ellen Weigel and the two soon got engaged. Three days before Michael was scheduled to go overseas on a school trip, he and Ellen got into an argument on a date, then the two drove off. After her parents didn't hear from Ellen, they contacted Michael who gave them three differing versions of what he said happened, all of them involving Ellen taking off and possibly getting on a bus to visit a family member, who said that Ellen didn't visit them. On Jul 5, 1970, Michael went on a plane for the student trip, while a water skier on Lake Winnebago found the floating body of Ellen in the lake. She had been strangled to death and an autopsy confirmed that she was four-months pregnant. Amongest the evidence against him was a total containing Ellen's torn-off hair, found in Michael's car. Michael returned home but provided no assistance to the investigation before he disappeared for good. On Jul 27, 1970, a warrant for Ellen's murder was issued for Michael Cline.

Thoughts? This is among the oldest fugitive cases we have covered on this site. Investigators believe that Michael attended college under an assumed name, began a medical career and may have traveled to Latin America. His family who was quite well off financially could have aided Michael's flight from justice as investigators also believe he was aided monetarily. He would only be in his early 60s today so he's probably still alive, but really could be anywhere by now. Also unless that's an article typo, I'm curious as to why the FBI in Wisconsin is interested in tips on Michael Cline.
