A man is wanted in connection with the murder of a woman in the Wampee area near Longs on Tuesday, Aug. 20.
Horry County Police Department said Ramondez Deandre Myers, 30, is wanted in connection with the shooting. Police said Myers may be driving a 2011 Hyundai Sonata with a South Carolina license plate WPW749.
Diana Osborne, a 58-year-old Longs resident, died at the scene from gunshot wounds, Horry County chief deputy coroner Tamara Willard said. The shooting happened outside of Osborne's daughter's house, Willard said.
Police were dispatched to the scene of a shooting on Star Bluff Road at 12:25 a.m. Tuesday, arriving six minutes later.
An incident report reveals a single victim and a single suspect, but all identifying information has been redacted. No arrests have been made as of Tuesday afternoon.
HCPD said Myers may be armed. Police are asking anyone who may know Myers' whereabout to call the tip line at 843-915-8477.
