Neveaux has pleaded guilty for a 2nd degree murder charge for killing a Jefferson parish deputy office detective David Michel Jr this case began in 2016 with neveaux in possession of a stolen 38 caliber handgun the detective had seen neveaux stalking a man who was going about his business authorities speculated that neveaux was going to commit a armed robbery in broad daylight Michel however noticed him as Michel approached the suspect to see what his intentions were but a physical altercation has broken out and ended with Michel dying a day later neveaux was taken into custody at the scene he was originally facing a 1st degree murder charge and the real possibility of a death sentence however he pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of 2nd degree murder but will serve life without parole probation or suspension of sentence in my opinion he should have faced trial years ago but at least he will never be released hope he enjoys life in the Louisiana department of corrections I just wanted to say on a brighter note Michel had a street named after him in Jefferson parish rest in peace detective michel
