From 1993-2009 AMW aired the case of fugitive Michele Comstock. In 1990, Comstock drove from a Tucson, Arizona bar intoxicated and crashed into a living room. The impact killed a five-year old boy. Comstock was released but was convicted in 1992. Around Late 1994, Comstock was arrested by authorities in Mazatlan, Sinaloa, Mexico on a minor drug charge. At the time, she may have been supporting herself through the illegal drug trade. Another piece of information was that Comstock was receving chemotheraphy for Hodgkin's disease shortly before she went on the run. Also, the car Comstock crashed in Arizona was owned by a Oscar Millan who investigators believed was Comstock's boyfriend. Millan was believed to be in Mexico with Comstock, engaging in narcotics activity and as far as I can tell, he was never located. At this point I believe Comstock is dead and there are a few possibillities as to why. First, she may have died from Hodgkins disease under an alias and was buried somewhere in Mexico. Second, Oscar Millan killed Comstock because she was drawing too much attention to him in the early-mid 90s. Third, Millan may have been killed or kidnapped for some reason and Comstock was killed as a result. If any of those are true then it would be almost impossible for Mexico to locate her remains after all these years. tucsoncitizen.com/morgue2/1995/12/18/31688-driver-in-90-fatal-still-sought/tucsoncitizen.com/morgue2/1994/01/04/209548-police-still-hope-to-find-fugitive/tucsoncitizen.com/morgue2/1994/11/26/24820-leads-sought-on-tucson-fugitive/Admin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

Much like Vickie Nash, I'd say being deceased is a good possibility too.

She's more than likely dead. Just looking at her pictures, you could tell she was just destroying herself with drugs and alcohol. If the theories regarding her boyfriend aren't true, I'd still say its probable she succumbed to health problems.

A forum reader sent me something I found interesting. Someone did a family tree website and included a Michele Denise Comstock in the family tree. This Michele Denise Comstock is listed as having been born on June 28th, 1963. If you recall, Comstock was 27 years old at the time of the fatal crash in 1990 so the age matches up (go to AMW.COM's archive page to see). And, according to a Tucson, Arizona article, fugitive Michele Comstock's date of birth? June 28th, 1963. It could be they were filling out the family tree so they felt obligated to list her regardless of whether they know where she is or not, but I did find it peculiar unlike other members they didn't list her birth location. And perhaps they wouldn't know but she is also not listed as deceased. I do find it weird Comstock is no longer on the Tucson's Most Wanted website though. As I said, perhaps they're nice people and were just listing her out of obligation since she is in their tree. I just think this does match up to our fugitive. In any case, this isn't a sighting or anything and I'm sure authorities already knew her family (otherwise I wouldn't have posted this. If anyone thinks this still gives too much away let me know and I'll remove it), just thought would be interesting to share. steddum.com/books/coffer.pdf (control and f for michele) steddum.com/ghtout/gtp1133.htmltucsoncitizen.com/morgue2/1994/01/04/209548-police-still-hope-to-find-fugitive/web.archive.org/web/20060327032802/http://www2.amw.com/fugitives/case.cfm?id=26204

The evidence obviously is that Comstock is still alive and that family may be hiding her from the previous post. The amazing part is she received 20 years in prison - she would easily be out by now. My guess is that the USMS/FBI will continue to turn up pressure on her family, and maybe something will shake loose. It was noted that she had Hodgkin's Disease, but that is HIGHLY treatable with a 90% survival rate. I'm certain she is still out there

Found another ebay wanted poster collection uploaded and a found a 1998 FBI poster for Michele Comstock. The only new piece of information on the poster was that I can confirm that she was born in Missouri.

Found a posting from "Bounty Hunter Training Academy" on Facebook. Unfortunately I can't figure out how to link to a post but it is from June 21st. A bounty hunter claims he located Comstock in Guadalajara (didn't say how long ago) but the drug cartels intervened. He claims she's still in Mexico not far from border.

I believe you’re correct. I remember that in the early 90s, there was an article which read that with one of her early 1990s airings, they received 250 tips from the Mazatlan, Mexico area.

Yeah I'm just curious if this bounty hunter located her again recently or is referring to almost catching her in the 1990s.

I think what you saw is credible, though. I do remember reading that she went on the run with a boyfriend. Wondering if he had cartel ties.

I didn't doubt their credibility but was curious as to the recency of when they located Comstock. I would agree she is still in Mexico if still alive.

I didn't doubt their credibility but was curious as to the recency of when they located Comstock. I would agree she is still in Mexico if still alive. Agreed. She has had cancer in the past, but indications from the USMS and that bounty hunter are that she’s alive. Comstock needs to own up to what she did. She caused the death of a child and has been unrepentant about it.
