COOS COUNTY, Ore. -- The United States Marshals Service and the Coos County Sheriff's Office are searching for 32-year-old Ian Edward Greer. The Marshals Service is searching for Greer for a parole violation, and the Sheriff's Office said he is a person of interest in an ongoing homicide investigation.
Authorities said he is 6'1", about 220 pounds, has red or auburn hair and green eyes.
Law enforcement officials said he has violent tendencies. They said he should not be contacted, as he may be armed.
If you see Greer or have any information about his location, you should contact the U.S. Marshals Service or the Coos County Sheriff's Office.

Thoughts? As of today’s date (August 21st, 2024), there is still an active on the Coos County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page asking for information on Greer’s whereabouts. Also the victim in the homicide Greer is wanted as a person of interest in is 89-year-old Frank Sherman, who died in a house fire on July 26th, 2024.
