(Above photo credits: nbc4i.com) From nbc4i.com: COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — Police are searching for a suspect charged with stabbing and killing a 25-year-old central Ohio man. Jose Luis Bautista, 26, has been charged with murder after he was allegedly seen stabbing Julian Medina-Alvarez on Aug. 1, according to the Columbus Division of Police. The pair lived at the same house in the 600 block of South Napoleon Avenue, and Medina-Alvarez escaped the attack by running to a neighbor before he collapsed from his injuries. Officers were called to the scene around 12:11 p.m. on Aug. 1 and found Medina-Alvarez. Although he was transported to a hospital in critical condition, he was pronounced dead at 2:26 p.m. Authorities noted that Bautista was seen fleeing from the area on foot, and is possibly employed as a painter or construction worker.
