LIBERTY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The Liberty County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in tracking down a suspect.
Authorities said Cody Haney, 22, is wanted in relation to an incident that occurred over the weekend. They said he is wanted for grand theft, burglary of a structure and criminal mischief.
Officials said Haney is described as a white male with brown hair, 5′08″ in height, 135lbs., and was last seen in the area of Forest Road 109.
If you have any information about Haney’s whereabouts, please contact the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 643-2235.

Thoughts? As of today’s posting date (August 7th, 2024), Haney still shows as having a warrant in Florida’s online wanted persons database. However, even though Haney is technically a fugitive hence the placement in the fugitives section the real reason I am making a posting is social media postings show Haney as also a missing person whose family is worried about him as well. I am not excusing his alleged crimes but they aren’t murder charges or anything so if Haney is ever located I promise to delete this post.
