Many AMW fans remember fugitive Noe Torres. Torres was part of the same crew as prison escapee Edward Salas- they tried shooting into the house of a teenage boy and wound up killing his 10-year brother instead. If I recall correctly, Torres was one of the few fugitives in AMW history to call the hotline- wanting to surrender- but then never bothered to show up for authorities. He was finally arrested after writing a letter to New Mexico Governor Susanna Martinez asking for a pardon who alerted the authorities. He has now been convicted of murder and faces life plus 35 years in prison. www.koat.com/news/man-found-guilty-in-10yearolds-death/31788592

I take it he and Edward Salas would get life sentences for Murder of a Child Under 14, plus 35 years in Noe Torres' case and 56 in Salas' for trying to kill the rest of the child's family, but missing. Salas' and Torres' crimes stood out to me, even among other murders of children, because the killers could've wiped out the whole family. I just want to be THROUGH with this case already! By the way, how much worse do fellow inmates typically treat prisoners who've been convicted of killing preadolescent children? Because Salas and Torres deserve whatever bad things they get from their fellow prison population!

I believe Torres's conviction will complete everyone's punishment in this case. But yeah, if Noe is not treated well in the Penitentiary, I can't say I'll feel bad for him.
