TEMPLE, Texas (KWTX) - It’s been more than seven months now since Temple resident Haleigh Murphy went missing in Round Rock, without a trace.
The Texas Rangers are investigating the 22-year-old’s disappearance.
”At this point we don’t know where she is, her mom hasn’t heard from her, she used to talk to her every single day,” family spokesperson Erica Brown said.
Haleigh was last seen at Eddie’s Tavern in Round Rock on June 16 around 11:30 at night.
Seven months later, Brown said Haleigh’s mother is still searching for answers from anyone who was there that night.
”We hit a dead end, but we need her story out so other people can see it and if anyone knows anything they can tell her mom,” Brown said.
Brown said Haleigh’s boyfriend was with her at the Round Rock bar before her disappearance.
According to the DPS missing person bulletin, Haleigh was last seen wearing a light purple shirt, light colored jean shorts and light purple Vans.
”I’m just worried,” Brown said. “I wonder what could’ve happened and where she could be. I’m sad for her mom. I want her mom to have answers.”
Haleigh is an Army veteran and a mother of a three-year-old son.
”She was very outgoing, everybody loved her that knew her, she was fun to be around,” Brown said.
Her loved ones are holding out hope that she’s still out there somewhere.
“We haven’t found evidence otherwise that she’s not going to come home, so we’re going to keep looking until we find her,” Brown said.
