NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. (WPRI) — Police are working to track down a man wanted in connection with a shooting that killed a 16-year-old back in May.
Investigators allege 20-year-old Erik Coelho Dos Santos opened fire at a house party on Howard Street in Northborough, according to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
The victim, Ygor Correia of Milford, was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Police said there were about 300 people in attendance at the party.
A second teenager was wounded in the shooting, while others were treated at the scene for injuries.
Three people between the ages of 19 and 27 were arrested on gun charges immediately after the shooting, the DA’s office said at the time.
Dos Santos now has a warrant for his arrest on a murder charge.
He stands 5 feet, 4 inches tall, weighs around 130 pounds and has brown hair, brown eyes and a light complexion. Police say his last known address is on Ames Street in Brockton.

Thoughts? As of today’s posting date (July 18th, 2024), there is still an active posting on the Northborough Police Department’s Facebook page asking for information on Dos Santos’s whereabouts. There are Facebook rumors that Dos Santos escaped to Brazil and is actively posting on social media accounts there. Even if that’s true, you don’t give up on a tragic case like this.
