DENVER — A suspect has been identified in connection with the fatal shooting of a man this month in east Denver, police said on Monday.
Baldemar Ortiz De La Fuente, 34, was killed in the shooting on the evening of May 4 in the area of Hale Parkway and Dahlia Street.
The Denver Police Department said on Monday that they are looking for 36-year-old Antonio Cardenas in connection with the shooting.
Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 720-913-7867 or visit metrodenvercrimestoppers.com. Tipsters can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000.

As of today’s posting date (May 20th, 2024), there is still a posting on Metro Denver Crime Stoppers’ Facebook page asking for information on Cardenas’s whereabouts that is yet to be edited or updated with any news of a capture. Also an important clue assuming it is not a typo is they list Cardenas as only 4’2” and 100 lbs.
