On April 21, Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies in Pompano Beach responded to a report of a shooting at 410 N.W. 35th Street. On scene, deputies located the victim inside an apartment and unresponsive. Pompano Beach Fire Rescue responded to the scene and transported the victim to Broward Health North where he was pronounced deceased.
BCSO identified the alleged killer as Derlis Dariel Padilla Torres, and the victim as his cousin. Derlis has a scorpion tattoo on the back of his right hand and could possibly be hiding in Honduras.
