Candelario Verdusco Saucedo is wanted for the homicide of 20-year old Luis Guillen-Rivas. Candelario and Luis were co-workers at a tortilla chip factory. For reasons that were not known, the two men had been involved in an ongoing argument. This eventually led to Candelario allegedly shooting Luis to death in the factory. Candelario fled and warrants for homicide and Unlawful Flight To Avoid Prosecution were issued for his arrest.
Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the San Jose Police Department at 408-277-8900 if you have any information on Candelario Verdusco Saucedo's whereabouts.

Thoughts? As of today, May 14, 2024, Candelario has an active felony case in Santa Clara County's court records database. There have been no hearings/events since the case was originally filed. The UFAP case is also still active in PACER. The case is too old for documents to be publicly available but I assume that Candelario most likely fled to Mexico.
Also a special thanks to the San Jose Public Library for finding Candelario's photo in The Mercury News archives. Their assistance in getting this cold case publicized is greatly appreciated.
I hope that Luis's family can finally get justice and accountability in their loved one's case. Candelario may still be employed in the food processing industry to this day.
