From masslive.com:
Worcester police released a photo and description of a man suspected in connection with the shooting death of Bob Nuah on Allendale Street on April 13.
Lino Menjivar, 30, of 23 Jefferson St., aka “L,” is wanted for armed assault to murder, carrying a firearm without an LTC, carrying a loaded firearm and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, according to a wanted poster the department released Thursday.
He was described by police as 5 feet 5 inches with black hair, brown eyes and face tattoos.
“Menjivar’s last known location is in Virginia, however his exact whereabouts are unknown at this time,” police said. “USE CAUTION, A FIREARM WAS USED AND HAS NOT BEEN RECOVERED. MENJIVAR SHOULD BE CONSIDERED ARMED AND DANGEROUS.”
Officers found Nuah unresponsive around 2:20 a.m. after they were called to Allendale Street by the city’s ShotSpotter system, which alerts police to sounds of gunfire, Worcester police said previously. They tried to aid him medically, but he was declared dead shortly after he arrived at a hospital.
Nuah was killed a short distance from his home, according to The Telegram & Gazette. He was well-known and loved in Worcester, his sisters told the newspaper. On Monday, there was a makeshift candle memorial for Nuah at Fuller Family Park.
Nuah was a 2018 graduate of Worcester’s Claremont Academy high school and was studying to become a dental assistant when he was killed, the Telegram & Gazette reported. He was also an active member of Greendale People’s Church in Worcester.
Nuah had five siblings, the newspaper reported. He leaves behind his mother, an older brother and younger twin brothers in addition to his sisters, cousin and other family and friends.
“Bob was a loving person, kind,” Princess Nuah told the Telegram & Gazette. “Knowing Bob is loving Bob,” Rita Nuah added.Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to send an anonymous tip to Worcester police at 274637 or worcesterma.gov/police.
